Conferences

At SHARE conferences, parents will find information regarding educating children in a cross-cultural context. This is offered through workshops, resources, and private consultations with educators and other professionals. In addition, SHARE offers assessments and evaluations for children using achievement or diagnostic testing and by gathering qualitative information from parents and teachers. When possible, conferences include an educational program specifically tailored for TCKs.

Regional conferences for groups of at least fifteen parents may be requested. Ideally, this request should be made one year in advance. An on-site facilitator is required for local logistics.

In addition, agencies may request SHARE services at their conferences. Priority is given to sponsoring agencies; however, SHARE is happy to provide educational workshops, achievement testing, and consulting to other agencies depending on staff availability.
